The STP temperature probe is available with either a DS18S20 (for our room temperature module) or a DS18B20 1-Wire temperature sensor embedded into the probe (for our water temperature probe). The STP probe is manufactured using a special process that insures the internal sensor is thermally coupled to the steel tube wall; this helps insure rapid sensor response to changing conditions.
Water Probe FEATURES
- Wide Temperature Range Probe.
- 304 Stainless Steel Probe, from 1.5 to 12 inches in Length.
- Pressure tested, water resistant to 60 PSI.
- Available with Dallas Semiconductor DS18S20 or DS18B20 Sensors.
- No external power required, or can be optionally powered for fast (nonparasite) operation.
- Uses 1-Wire communication protocol.
- Compatible with all EDS 1-Wire bus masters.
- Chemical resistant and waterproof steel probe.
- Automatic unique device addressing.
- 1-12 feet CAT 5 cable options.
- Applications Include thermostatic controls, industrial systems, consumer products, thermometers, or any thermally sensitive system.
The room temperature probe is mounted to our in-house manufactured electronic board and mounted in a highly rugged PVC junction type box with wire grips and I-beam clamp for easy installation.
