The Plant Tough Team has over 30 years of “real life” hands-on field experience combined with university level education. Plant Tough was formed in 2006 when our team saw a growing need for process control systems and support products that would not fail in the harsh wash down environment of food processing. Our team developed a strategy using industry specific PC hardware placed in an aluminum PC shell that was covered by spraying high density polyurethane truck bed liner on the outside to achieve maximum protection from the worst environmental conditions. Plant Tough PC’s were installed in some of the most challenging food processing environments and are still going strong today because of our attention to detail. We named our first process control system Plant Tough Computers.
Over the last 2 years Plant Tough Computers has expanded to meet ever changing and more demanding industry wide requirements. Today we are Plant Tough Automation with extensive lines of time tested core products along with new products that make our customers even more competitive with detailed monitoring and the latest measurement tools.
